how can i tell her not to run from problems? i tell her that in life people should face problems head on, but she still is afraid of them. she is afraid that our relationship wont work because we like different music and tv shows

Go and see a counselor and a psychiatrist as soon as possible.
At least that’s the first step she can take but it takes a long time to deal with mental health problems hope you understand that.
